Contractor Systems

Compare · vs. a website-only service

A website is a brochure. A system books the job.

A great contractor website is table stakes. What happens after the visitor hits submit — or hangs up when nobody answers — is where jobs are won and lost. Contractor Systems adds the inbox, the missed-call text-back, the follow-up, and the review funnel that catches what a website alone can't.

The inquiry journey

What happens between "visitor" and "booked estimate."

A week in the life of a lead, in a website-only setup versus a connected system. Example data below.

01

Tuesday, 8:42 AM

Call comes in. You're on a roof.

A website-only setup: the call rings, no one picks up, the caller moves on. Contractor Systems: the caller gets a text from your business number within seconds, replies, and books an estimate for the next morning without anyone touching a phone.

02

Tuesday, 10:03 AM

Website form submission arrives.

Website-only: an email in the owner's inbox, among forty other emails. Contractor Systems: the lead lands in the inbox marked New, with contact info and job details, and the first follow-up text goes out automatically.

03

Thursday, 3:17 PM

An estimate from Monday is going quiet.

Website-only: nothing. Contractor Systems: a follow-up message goes out in your voice. The customer either answers or doesn't. Either way, every message is logged on the customer's record so nothing gets double-asked.

04

Friday, 4:52 PM

Job's done.

Website-only: you remember to ask for a Google review next time you see them (sometimes). Contractor Systems: a personalized review request goes out with a branded image. 4–5 stars go straight to Google. 1–3 stars reach you first so you can fix it.

Side by side

What a website alone leaves on the table.

Website

Contractor Systems

A professional contractor website built for your trade and your service area. Hosting, updates, and new project pages included.

Website-only service

A website build is delivered once. Hosting and future updates are usually billed separately or on a per-change basis.

Website form submissions

Contractor Systems

Land directly in the Contractor Systems inbox with the lead's contact info and job details. Marked as new. Follow-up starts automatically.

Website-only service

Email to the owner (and maybe a copy to one admin). Response depends on who's checking email.

Phone calls to the business

Contractor Systems

Can be routed through a tracked business number. Missed calls trigger a text-back within seconds from your number so the caller doesn't dial the next company.

Website-only service

A phone number on the site. No tracking, no missed-call text-back.

Follow-up on an unanswered quote

Contractor Systems

Estimate follow-up sequences keep in front of the prospect with a polite, persistent nudge until they book or bow out. Every message is on the customer's record.

Website-only service

Owner remembers to text or email. Or doesn't.

Review requests after a job

Contractor Systems

A 5-star review funnel asks every customer after the job, with a personalized message and a branded image. 4–5 stars go to Google. 1–3 stars reach you first, privately.

Website-only service

Owner asks when they remember. A review link in an email signature at best.

New project pages

Contractor Systems

Text us a photo from the jobsite and it becomes a project page on your website. Those pages become social posts on Instagram and Facebook, automatically.

Website-only service

Pages are added when you (or your website vendor) manually build them. Often, they don't get added.

Who runs it

Contractor Systems

We build, connect, and operate the system. One place to ask when something needs tuning.

Website-only service

The owner. (Or whoever has the website login.)

Price

Contractor Systems

$297/mo, $297 one-time setup. Hosting, updates, follow-up, review funnel, inbox, phone number all included.

Website-only service

A build fee up front and monthly hosting. Everything else is DIY or scoped separately.

Why contractors choose a system over a website

Three concrete reasons.

01

The inquiry journey ends in a booked job, not an open tab

A great website gets the visitor to the first step. Everything after that — the missed call, the slow email reply, the quote that goes quiet, the finished job no one asks for a review on — is where contractors lose work. The system handles all four of those moments automatically.

02

The leads from every channel land in one place

Calls, website forms, Google messages, texts, and ad leads come into the same inbox, with the source attached. You stop guessing which marketing is working, and the ones that need a response are marked so nothing slips.

03

The site gets better the longer you use it

Every job you text us a photo of becomes a project page on your site, and every project page becomes a social post. A website-only service hands you a site that looks the same in month one as in month twenty-four. This one grows with every job.

Which option fits your business?

Where each one wins.

Pick a website-only service if…

  • ✓You already have a dedicated office answering calls and following up.
  • ✓Your CRM, review flow, and texting are already handled by tools you're happy with.
  • ✓You want to pay once for a build and manage everything else yourself.

Pick Contractor Systems if…

  • ✓You're losing leads to calls that go unanswered and quotes that go unanswered-back.
  • ✓You want the website, the inbox, the follow-up, and the review funnel in one monthly price.
  • ✓You want new jobs to turn into project pages and social posts without logging into anything.

Questions

Straight answers.

I already have a website. Can I keep it?+

The Advanced package includes a new professional contractor website as part of the build. If your existing site is already performing well, we can talk through whether rebuilding is worth it or whether the automation and inbox layer alone would serve you — mention it during the demo and we'll be straight about the right call.

Does a faster or newer website alone improve my Google rankings?+

Google does use page experience signals including Core Web Vitals in its ranking systems, but speed by itself does not guarantee rankings. Rankings depend on content relevance, local signals (Google Business Profile, reviews, citations), site structure, and many other factors. A fast, mobile-ready site is a solid foundation, but it isn't a shortcut.

What makes the missed-call text-back work?+

Your business phone number is connected so the system knows when a call isn't answered. Within seconds, a text goes out from the same number saying you missed the call and asking how you can help. When the person replies, the conversation lands in your inbox and on your phone.

What tools does this replace?+

For most contractors on a website-only setup, it replaces the website host and a handful of ad-hoc tools (a texting app, a review-request plugin, a form notifier, maybe a Google Voice line). You can see the full integrations list for what we connect to rather than replace.

What if I only need the website, not the full system?+

A website-only service is likely the better fit, and we'll say so. The point of Contractor Systems is the connected inquiry journey; if you only need a static website, you'd be paying for automation you won't use.

How soon does the system start working?+

Most contractors are live within 10 business days. Missed-call text-back and review requests usually run inside the first 48 hours of a signed agreement.

See the system catch what a website can't.

Twenty minutes. We'll walk through the website, the missed-call text-back, the inbox, and the review funnel on real screens.
